Physical Therapist, MHS
For over 16 years, I’ve found great joy in helping people regain their function after an injury or setback and return to recreational activities and enjoy life again! While working as a ski patroller at Snowmass Mountain in Colorado, I discovered how much I enjoyed helping people and the medical aspects of the job. I was inspired to pursue my newfound passion and went on to receive my BS and Masters in Health Science from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Shortly after receiving my degrees, I moved to Bend and have been practicing at Southside PT for over 15 years. I’m proud to be part of a team that makes our patients our priority and agrees each patient deserves our respect, understanding and encouragement. Recovery can be challenging, but we strive to make the process as easy as possible and provide our patients with the support and help they need. At Southside, we treat patients with individualized, one-on-one care in clean, private PT rooms. Our physical therapists are all highly trained, experienced and passionate about our jobs. We frequently attend continuing education so we can deliver the best and most current care. Our patients see the same therapist each visit so they don’t have to re-tell their story and are able to establish a routine that leads to a faster recovery.
When I’m not in the clinic I enjoy volunteering my time as a gatekeeper for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation alpine ski-racing program for which my son performs. I love spending time with my wife, Aimee, and two sons, Will & John, and our golden retriever, Bailey. We enjoy many outdoor sports like alpine skiing, skate skiing, rafting, fishing, windsurfing, dirt biking and mountain biking. My favorite thing to do is teach my kids to enjoy the outdoors by exploring Oregon and all the beautiful PNW has to offer!
